"The Path" 11"x14" Oil Painting by Terry Romero Paul

Don't you wish you were walking on this path to the ocean in Monterey California?  I don't know where you are now but it is pouring outside my studio right now.  When I look at my painting I can feel the warmth of the setting sun and the breeze on my face. Ahhh!

New Ad in the April Issue of American Art Collector Magazine

I wanted to share with you that I placed an Ad in the April American Art Collector magazine.  Also, unrelated to my dessert paintings, I have three images of my big sky paintings over water in the "Collector's Focus" Seascapes, Rivers & Lakes section, page 71.

"Roses at Lunch" 10"x8" oil Painting by Terry Romero Paul

At Olive & Thyme in Toluca Lake California each table has beautiful roses in a small glass vase.  I love this fresh touch so much I had to paint it. The fresh roses at the tables makes eating there so enjoyable.  Also, the food is very good.

"Melted Coffee Ice Cream Cone" - 11"x14" Oil Painting

"Melted Coffee Ice Cream Cone" 11"x14", oil painting commission just completed. My collector asked me to paint this for her daughter who is expecting her first child and has been obsessed with coffee ice cream.

"Emma"s Pom Pom Shoes" 11"x14" Oil Painting

I bought these adorable baby shoes for a friend of mine that had just had a little girl.  I felt they were so precious that I just had to paint them.  I love how they turned out.  The strong elongated shadow pattern is a way to say big things are coming for this little one.

"Venice Canal" 30"x24" commisioned oil painting by Terry Romero Paul

My new collector just sent me this photo of the painting she commissioned framed and hanging in her new home in Georgia.  We talked about what she would like and we decided a scene from their beloved time in Venice would be a good subject.  She told me she liked abstract painting which is a stretch for me since I usually do realism.  I think I struck a good medium ground on this painting. I really enjoyed the challenge and I am very happy my client was so pleased with the end result.
