I am excited to share with you that I had two paintings juried into the Women Painters West show "Red". Since the title and subject of the show is red I submitted my "Red Velvet Cake" painting and my "Big Red" donut paintings.

There is a restaurant in Toluca Lake called Chez Nous that has a marvelous bakery. I have gotten many beautiful subjects there for my paintings. This luscious Napoleon is one of them.

My favorite from Marie Callendars. Cherry pie with a scoop of french vanilla ice cream.

"Chocolate Dome" - Oil - 6x6

The inside of this desert was filled with chocolate cream. I really enjoyed it after I painted it.

"Red Velvet Cake" - Oil - 8x10

I love the name of this cake. It makes me think of a Frank Sinatra song. So smooth.
